- IP address (used for country detection and abuse prevention)
- Pages visited and features used
- Date and time of access
2.5 Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use analytics services that record your sessions or mouse movements.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect core functionality like staying signed in.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and operate the UteQuote service
- Transcribe your voice recordings into quotes and invoices using AI
- Generate and deliver PDF quotes and tax invoices

- Respond to your support requests
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud and abuse
- Improve and develop the service
- Produce aggregated and de-identified statistics — which do not identify you or your customers — for any legitimate business purpose, including improving and developing our services, research, analytics, and reporting
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data or your customers’ personal data. We do not use your business data or customer data for advertising purposes, and we do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
If you are located in the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases under the UK GDPR:
- Contract: Processing necessary to provide you with the UteQuote service you signed up for
- Legitimate interest: Improving the service, preventing fraud, and sending service-related communications

- Consent: Where you have given us specific consent (e.g. opting in to marketing communications)
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate UteQuote. Each has its own privacy policy:
AI Transcription & Processing — OpenAI, Anthropic
Voice recordings are transcribed using OpenAI and the resulting text is processed using Anthropic to generate quotes and invoices. Audio data is transmitted securely, processed, and not retained by the AI provider beyond the duration of the request. We use providers with enterprise data protection agreements. See openai.com/policies/privacy-policy and anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
Database & Hosting — Supabase, Vercel
Your data is stored in a secure cloud database (Supabase) and the application is hosted on Vercel. Access is protected by row-level security — only you can access your data. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Data may be processed in regions outside your home country as necessary to provide the service.
Payments — Stripe
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We never store your card details — all payment information is handled directly by Stripe. See stripe.com/privacy.
Email Delivery — Resend
Quotes, invoices, and notifications sent to your customers by email are delivered via Resend. Customer email addresses are shared with Resend solely for delivery. See resend.com/privacy.
SMS Delivery — Twilio
SMS notifications sent to your customers are delivered via Twilio. Customer phone numbers are shared with Twilio solely for delivery. See twilio.com/legal/privacy.
6. Your Customers’ Data
When you use UteQuote to send quotes and invoices, you provide us with your customers’ personal information (names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses). You are the data controller for your customers’ data; we act as a data processor on your behalf.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share this information with us and that your customers are aware their details may be used to deliver documents on your behalf. We use your customers’ data only to deliver the documents and notifications you request. We do not contact your customers for any other purpose.
7. International Data Transfers
No Drama Studios Pty Ltd is based in Australia. Your data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your own, including Australia, the United States, and other countries where our infrastructure providers operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this policy regardless of where it is processed.
For users in the United Kingdom: where we transfer your data outside the UK, we rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other lawful transfer mechanisms under the UK GDPR.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account data and business records for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the service. If you close your account, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records required under tax legislation in your jurisdiction).
Voice recordings are processed in real-time and discarded immediately after transcription — they are not retained.
9. Data Security
We take data security seriously. Your information is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard protocols. We use secure cloud infrastructure with restricted access controls and regular security updates.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
